Boldin helps people make confident, life-changing financial decisions. Content is one of the primary ways people discover us, learn from us, and build trust with us over time.

The Senior Content Strategist/Editorial Lead plays a critical role in ensuring Boldin’s content is clear, helpful, current, and discoverable—across newsletters, search, AI-driven discovery, and in support of video, social, and email. This role sits at the intersection of editorial quality, SEO / Everywhere Search, and user education.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Own weekly newsletters for 3-4 different personas

  • Curate content for, write, edit, and publish newsletters that educate, inspire, engage, and build habits, improving open rates, click-through, and long-term subscriber engagement

Maintain and optimize our library of over 1,400 articles

  • Ensure accuracy and freshness of all published content
  • Add or refresh on page factors like snippets, internal and external links, video, meta data, etc..  to increase discoverability
  • Edit to improve SEO and search everywhere factors

Create a content calendar and publish new content weekly

  • Identify keyword opportunities 
  • Write articles, guides, explainers, and educational content for existing users
  • Inspire users with articles to help them actualize their dreams and live their best lives
Support content across channels
  • Consult on scripts and copy for video, social, emails, product surfaces, and education
  • Help ensure content consistency across formats and teams

KPIS + Targets

  • Growth in SEO arrivals
  • Growth in AI-driven arrivals and successful discovery
  • Newsletter open rates, click-through rates, and retention
  • Effective content support for social, video, and email efforts
  • Improved performance of refreshed and updated content

Qualifications:

You’re a strong writer and editor with a deep understanding of personal finance and a passion for helping people make better decisions about their lives—not just their money.

You likely:

  • Have strong personal finance knowledge and enjoy staying current on financial rules and best practices
  • Care deeply about accuracy, nuance, and consumer trust
  • Believe financial planning is about more than numbers—it’s about confidence, freedom, and self-actualization
  • Are interested in self-improvement, habit-building, and helping people align money with meaning
  • Think about content as a product with measurable impact
  • Are curious about how people discover information today—and how that’s evolving

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in content, editorial, or content marketing roles
  • Strong understanding of personal finance (retirement planning, investing, taxes, Social Security, etc.)
  • CFP® certification strongly preferred (or active pursuit of certification)
  • Advanced knowledge of SEO and Everywhere Search, including:
    • On-page optimization
    • Content structuring for AI discovery
    • Search intent and user behavior
  • Proven experience writing for a consumer audience
  • Experience owning or contributing to newsletters and performance metrics
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and formats
  • Comfort balancing editorial judgment with performance data
  • Prudent use of AI for content creation

This is a fully remote position

Salary Range

$125,000 - $165,000

This position offers a competitive salary between $125,000 and $165,000, depending upon experience and qualifications. Salary may vary by location based on factors, including the cost of living.
